Enjoy That Big Band Feel in this Orchestral Jazz Cover of “Gerudo Valley”

Gerudo Valley in Ocarina of Time is home to a rather unique quest that involves Link interacting with a very eclectic group of female warriors. While the quest seems daunting, the music in this area is perfect for driving the player forward. One of the most iconic tunes in Ocarina of Time, this theme has been covered by many fan musicians, but nothing quite like this recent arrangement by The 8-Bit Big Band.
This orchestral jazz cover of the Gerudo Valley theme not only features the masterful work of a group of talented musicians, but offers an interesting story as well. Throughout the music video, the tale of Link’s quest in Gerudo Valley is told in animated form. It’s great that the group decided to let us engage with the music in a unique way.
The 8-Bit Big Band have also produced Ocarina of Time covers for “Zelda’s Lullaby“, “Shop Theme“, “Sheik’s Theme“, and “Kaepora Gaebora“. They’ve also covered songs from Sonic the Hedgehog, Katamari Damacy, Portal, Final Fantasy VI, Pokémon, and much more.
