So who’s still excited about Nintendo’s recent announcement regarding a new Zelda 3DS title releasing in time for the Holiday season at the end of 2013? Anticipation for the title is at an all-time high and considering it will feature the same overworld used in a Link to the Past I think it’s safe to say that this will be a 3DS blockbuster title! Yet who’s taken on the major role of developing this Zelda 3DS adventure?

Well, Nintendo has confirmed that long-time Zelda director, Eiji Aonuma, and the team at Nintendo EAD are indeed taking on all the action by developing this Zelda 3DS title. You may recall, in the past, that Nintendo has allowed Capcom to produce Zelda games such as Oracle of Ages/Seasons and Minish Cap but it’s great to know that the Nintendo EAD team lead by Mr. Aonuma will be developing this new entry in the series. From the trailer already released, we can see how amazingly detailed the game currently looks and that it is in strong and dedicated hands!

Are you happy that Mr. Aonuma and the Nintendo EAD team are taking control of Zelda 3DS? Do you wish help from outside Nintendo’s gates would have been utilized? Do you like the direction Nintendo is taking with Zelda 3DS?
