Eggbusters: Twilight Princess REDUX

Every game has a glitch or 12 and a lot of people spend hours trying everything they can to find them. They may just have too much free time on their hands but they certainly make for entertaining videos and these glitches is what Eggbusters is all about. I’ve checked out a couple of videos before for other games I like and, seeing as The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is my all time favourite game, I was quite glad they decided to do another video on glitches in the game. Rather than spend ages looking for glitches, though, presenter Austin looks for glitches other people have supposedly found and puts them to the test. It may be a game glitch version of Mythbusters but, in this video, there are some surprising result.

In this video they test out two glitches and one Easter egg. Don’t worry, I won’t ruin the surprise of finding out if the glitches are real or not but I’d never heard any of the reports they’re look in to before. First of all they try out a glitch that allows you to walk on the roof of the Snowpeak Ruins which sounds like something where the novelty would run out very quickly. Next is the Easter egg where if you shoot a cucco with a bombs arrow, pick it up and then throw it, it will lay an egg which, again, sounds like something where the novelty would soon ware off. Finally it’s a glitch that makes a Goron dance which I was hoping would make them become like Darunia in Ocarina of Time after you play Saria’s Song.

Though the glitches tested may not be particularly amazing, the video was an interesting watch and it had a few funny moments. I’d quite like to try out the dancing Goron glitch (so much for not giving away whether or not they were confirmed!) even if they were pretty much able to explain why it happens. I’ll be checking out some of their other videos I’ve missed but, as far as Twilight Princess goes, the glitch where the postman runs off a cliff is still hilarious.
