Echoes of Wisdom Amiibo Compatibility & Functionality Revealed

Following reports that popular amiibo are being reprinted ahead of Nintendo’s newest Zelda release, the company has recently confirmed on their official Japanese website which amiibo will be compatible with The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Nintendo has also hinted at what we might expect when we tap our favorite Zelda amiibo while accompanying the princess on her new journey.

The following The Legend of Zelda amiibo will be compatible to use as you play Echoes of Wisdom:

While Nintendo hasn’t revealed any individual details on which amiibo might grant which in-game goodies, the game’s amiibo page does state that using amiibo while playing Echoes of Wisdom can grant items “useful for your adventure,” as well as offering access to different colors for clothing you can find in the game.
