Duck Hunt Officially Revealed As Playable Character in Smash Bros. Wii U

During today’s Nintendo Direct, we finally got the official reveal trailer for Duck Hunt, one of the last remaining characters for Super Smash Bros. Wii U.

This might not be very shocking news for everyone that’s already played the 3DS version, but it’s still really exciting; not only do we finally get an official reveal and tons of screenshots and info, this marks the last character revealed for the new Smash games.

The trailer features all of its moves, with a cinematic introduction and theme about the original Duck Hunt game for the NES. We see all the different color variations of Duck Hunt, including a dalmatian theme, and it looks completely amazing.

It’s also been revealed that the original Duck Hunt game will be released on the Wii U Virtual Console, so we can look forward to that day soon.
