Bayonetta first graced Nintendo consoles back in 2014 when it was re-released with the launch of Bayonetta 2 on Wii U. It blew away fans and critics with it fast paced hack and slash game play and it’s don’t care attitude. Thankfully this classic has come back for another go with new features including amiibo support, tighter framerates and sharper visuals on Nintendo Switch!

When Bayonetta was originally brought over to Wii U they gave it some unique content in the form of Nintendo themed costumes that could be unlocked for Bayonetta to wear. One of which being themed after our favorite green garbed hero Link, titled ‘Hero of Hyrule.’  This can be unlocked in both games either by using any Link amiibo or by saving up enough Halos (in game currency) and purchasing it from the in-game store! Not only does this give Bayonetta a Twilight Princess themed outfit, but also let’s her wield the legendary Master Sword  and turns all Halos into Rupees.

Both of these games are now available on the Nintendo eShop. Bayonetta will run you $29.99 USD where as Bayonetta 2 will set you back $49.99 USD. You can also purchase the physical copy for $59.99 USD, but be aware that this only includes a cartridge for Bayonetta 2 with a bonus downloadable eShop code for the original Bayonetta.

Will you be picking up either of these again on Nintendo Switch? Does the addition of amiibo support or the Hero of Hyrule costume peek your interest? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
