Darunia Hyrule Warriors Gameplay Footage from SDCC (Updated)

Earlier this week it was announced that along with Princess Ruto and Sheik, Darunia will be playable in Hyrule Warriors. Now, we have footage of Darunia gameplay from Nintendo’s lounge at San Diego Comic Con.

Unfortunatley, the video is just gameplay. However we do get to see many cool clips of what it is like to play as Darunia. He has a hammer, can throw rocks, do the Goron roll and shoot lava. All these abilities make me think that Darunia may be one of the most fun characters in Hyrule Warriors. One clip in the video shows the player leading a giant bombchu to destory an otherwise impenetrable wall, so I hope this means that there will be more Zelda-esque puzzles in the game. We also got to see the Eldin Volcano area, which looked absolutely beautiful. Hopefully we will get to see a longer gameplay video from Nintendo.
