Daily Debate: Would You Like to See Any Past Links or Zeldas Appear in Breath of the Wild 2?

The more I think about this darn game that keeps slipping through my fingers, the more I think about how marvelous it would be for a past incarnation of Link or Zelda to make a cameo appearance in Breath of the Wild 2. Because Breath of the Wild is likely the most recent time in Hyrule according to the timeline, wouldn’t it be intriguing if some of our past favorite heroes and princesses appeared? Our current incarnations could use their help to take on Ganoncorpse! It wouldn’t even be the first time this has happened. After all, the Hero of Time appeared as the Hero’s Shade in Twilight Princess to teach his descendent what it means to have courage and to own up to your destiny. His dialogue to the Hero of Twilight never ceases to leave me in chills.
I for one would love to see Zelda and Link from Skyward Sword again, mostly because there are many ties to that first defining journey through locations in Breath of the Wild. The best example being Zelda’s efforts to unlock her powers that have descended from Hylia. I think it would make for a great addition to the story, but only time will tell.
