The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild broke many traditional Zelda conventions – it offered numerous weapons to choose from, different armor that could be crafted and upgraded, dungeons that could be completed in any order the player sought fit, and the ability to jump and climb just to name a few. However, one thing Breath of the Wild did differently which really stood out was getting rid of Link’s traditional green tunic and hat in favor of the newer, bluer Champion’s Tunic.

When asked about this decision, series producer Eiji Aonuma basically said it was done because it was getting harder to make the traditional green garbs look cool instead of silly. With that in mind, how would you like to see tunics handled in the future?

Should the next Zelda title keep Breath of the Wild’s diverse armor selection? Should it offer a return to tradition and feature the iconic Hero’s Tunic from the start? Or would you be interested in each Link having a different default Tunic, and thus a different look from one another, in each future installment? Sound off in the comments below!
