With Breath of the Wild 2 slated to release in Spring 2023, we are — fingers crossed — less than a year away from Link’s next adventure. However, it’s unclear as to when Nintendo will lift the curtain on this title. Although we’ve technically seen a couple snippets of gameplay, I think we’re all ready for a proper unveiling — not only a title reveal, but also a significantly more extensive look at the game in action. Despite our collective wish for a proper, E3-style Nintendo Direct this month, the news that tomorrow’s presentation will be more of a third-party showcase certainly seems to dash those hopes.

Let’s talk hypothetically for a minute, though. If the game is shown off in greater detail sometime soon, will you do anything to celebrate the occasion, even in some minor way? Personally, I plan to kickstart my pre-Breath of the Wild 2 journey through most of the Zelda series that day. With that being said, the sooner Nintendo shows this game off, the better. That’s a ton of Zelda games to replay, and I want to complete as many as possible before this new title’s release. I suppose I could start now, but by the time this article is published, I’ll undoubtedly be deep into Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. It’d be best to wait just a bit longer, you know?

What about you? How do you plan to commemorate this game’s proper reveal, and does the timing of said reveal affect the nature of your festivities? Will you go on a theory-crafting spree? Draw some fanart? Or, like me, just play a bunch of Zelda games? Let us know in the comments below!
