Daily Debate: Who Will Be The First Undefeated Champion in Zelda Informer’s Cave of Trials?

Earlier today, Zelda Informer launched a new weekly series – the Cave of Trials! The premise is simple: two characters from The Legend of Zelda series will duke it out in a popularity contest, with the winner being named the Champion. The Champion will then go on to defend their title the next week against a different opponent. Win, and continue; lose, and a new Champion is crowned with them defending. And so on and so forth.
One caveat put in place is, in order to avoid repetition, once a Champion has defended their title successfully six times, they will be retired so a new Champion can have a chance to carry the strap. My question is: who do you think the first Champion to rack up six victories will be?
Will it be series mainstays like Link, Zelda, or Ganondorf? Or will the more hardcore fans influence the vote and allow lessor known characters to score big wins? Only you can decide, but for now, sound off in the comments below and give us your best predictions!
