We all know that Ganon keeps coming back again and again (and again) to torment Link, Zelda, and Hyrule. Numerous times throughout the series, we have seen the King of Evil rear his ugly head to wreak havoc on the land of Hyrule. Faring not so well are the secondary villains of the series. Zelda has somewhat fallen into the trap of ‘have secondary villain set things in motion, only to be defeated and never heard from again’.

This was true of Zant, Ghirihim, Agahnim, and others, as once Link defeated them, they were gone and forgotten. But wouldn’t be cool to see some of these guys again? Have Twinrova make her triumphant return to terrorize Link, or see the Helmaroc King show up again to terrorize Zelda? And who wouldn’t want to find out more about the origins of the Majora’s Mask? Even Vaati, a rare secondary villain who got a couple games to shine, was always (somewhat fittingly I suppose) confined to the small screen. Wouldn’t it be awesome to see what kind of mayhem he could conjure up in a modern, big budget Zelda game?

What do you guys think? Should the Zelda series give Ganon a break and bring some of the other members of its rogues gallery off the bench? Or are you only interested in seeing new villains? Sound off in the comments below!
