One of my favorite aspects of Hyrule Warriors is how it re-purposes classic Zelda locations. Under developer Omega Force’s chaotic regime, even the most peaceful places (I’m looking at you, Skyloft!) can be turned into full-blown battlefields. Admittedly, much of my time these days is spent daydreaming about what a hypothetical Hyrule Warriors sequel could bring to the table. Which new characters might we play as, and for the purposes of this Daily Debate, where a horde of Bokoblins might show up next?

Boasting new costumes for Link and Zelda, 2018’s Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition gave us a small taste of Breath of the Wild-flavored crossover material. Should we ever receive a proper sequel, you just know Nintendo will want to capitalize on that game’s massive popularity even further. The four Champions would be the obvious additions to the roster, though I can’t think of many others; Sidon, maybe?

What’s less certain is which locations from the 2017 title Nintendo would turn into a battleground for Midna and Ghirahim. Personally, if I could have only one, then I would love to see Zora’s Domain. Not only is it one of the most breathtaking locales in the game, but the central ring could also be expanded to make for some fun capture points. Divine Beast Vah Ruta could even serve as either a base to seize or a boss to defeat.

What about you? Which location from Breath of the Wild would you most want to see in Hyrule Warriors? Let us know in the comments below!
