Tears of the Kingdom has been out for a couple days now, and everyone has been slowly getting reacquainted with the faces of Hyrule. While the tutorial segment of Tears of the Kingdom focuses on the new character of Rauru, once we’ve gotten ourselves out of the sky, we’re treated to a veritable of conga line of old friends we met in Breath of the Wild. Of course, with some time having passed, many of them are sporting brand new looks for the outing, some more dramatically different than others. My question to you is, who’s new look is your favorite?
I may be a bit biased, but my vote absolutely has to go to Purah. We didn’t see her in the promo materials, but I had a feeling we’d be getting a more adult Purah for Tears of the Kingdom, and I was happily proven right. Her new adult look is so much more in line with her Breath of the Wild design than the version of her we got in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and I am so here for it. Robbie not changing in the slightest was an amusing touch as well. I’m already pretty heavily considering making Purah’s new design my next cosplay venture. Of course, I’m only about 5-6 hours in, so there may be some new returning faces I’ve yet to see.
