Daily Debate: Which Classic Zelda Location Would You Like to See Expanded into Its Own Dungeon?

Among Twilight Princess’s most delightfully blatant callbacks to Ocarina of Time was our return to the Temple of Time. The cathedral-inspired architecture coupled with that all-too-familiar chant — had it just been a recreation of that environment, it would’ve still been a fun, if somewhat hollow trip down memory lane. Fortunately, the game took the far more meaningful route and greatly expanded upon this classic locale. I had no idea a full-fledged dungeon was hidden just past the Master Sword’s resting place!
Looking back on that experience got me thinking; what other locations from throughout the series should graduate to dungeon status? Personally, I’d love to see King Bulblin’s Gerudo Desert hideout, or something like it, return in a grander fashion. As a brief diversion before entering the Arbiter’s Grounds, it’s fine, but I see more potential in that sort of place. I imagine a dungeon with an emphasis on infiltration; one that encourages stealth but doesn’t send Link backward or into a jail cell upon being spotted. Of course, it would all culminate in a proper one-on-one match against King Bulblin himself. For as memorable as his four encounters in Twilight Princess were, he’s deserving of a proper boss fight. Give that man a heart container!
What are your thoughts, though? Is there a particular location that you would like to see repurposed as a dungeon? Let us know in the comments below!
