Daily Debate: Which Character From The Legend Of Zelda Do You Relate To The Most?

The Legend of Zelda franchise is chock full of vibrant and interesting characters who have certainly left a lasting impression in the hearts of fans. Some characters embody qualities that many people can relate to and this can endear them to that person in particular. Take our favorite protagonist Link, for example. Link is usually rolling with the punches and dealing with the forces of evil as they come at him. He’s extremely courageous and this is something that people in the real world can relate to. They may not be fending off monsters in their efforts to protect the Triforce, but they are dealing with issues in real life. Simply being brave and standing up for what you believe in is courage in itself.

Midna, from Twilight Princess is another great example of a character with really interesting qualities. She is feisty and determined to get what she wants, which are great attributes to have in the real world. Even Saria, from Ocarina of Time had great qualities. She was accepting and kind, even to those who were different from her. In Ocarina of Time, Link didn’t have a fairy of his own, which made him different from the rest of the Kokiri. This didn’t affect how Saria viewed Link, and they became fast friends.

When I think of the various characters in the Zelda series, I think I would relate most to Midna. When I set my mind on something, I’m very determined to succeed. Although there are so many other characters that I can relate to in other ways as well.
