Daily Debate: Which Character Do You Most Look Forward to Playing as in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity?

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity aims to fulfill a wish I’ve had since 2017 — to mow down hordes of monsters as one of Breath of the Wild’s four Champions. As I mentioned in my previous Daily Debate, I had expected this to come in the form of a proper Hyrule Warriors sequel or expansion, not a full-blown prequel to Breath of the Wild. Indeed, it’s the pleasant surprises in life that often provide the greatest joy.

And though we caught only a brief look at each of the characters’ attacks, they look to be just as flashy as those found in the original Hyrule Warriors. As I think about the possibilities for each warrior, I can’t help but be most excited about Urbosa. Not only have I been dying to play as a Gerudo other than Ganondorf, but I also have an affinity for grand-scale electric attacks. She’ll undoubtedly possess some outlandish variation of Urbosa’s Fury, and I can’t wait to see what that looks like.
