Daily Debate: Which Character Are You Looking Forward to Playing as the Most in Age of Calamity?

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is almost here and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. While I’m excited for this game to serve as a prequel for the major events we only caught glimpses of in Breath of the Wild, the thing I’m most excited about is the characters we’ll be able to play as. I doubt the roster will be as expansive as the first Hyrule Warriors, but I’m thrilled with the selection we do have so far. I think all of the characters look incredibly fun to play as and will offer unique fighting styles and abilities.
As of now, I’m looking forward to playing as a young Impa the most, followed closely by Mipha. In Super Smash Bros. and Hyrule Warriors, I gravitated to the lightning-fast, agile characters. Sheik is my main character in both of the games, so Impa will be a natural fit for my preferred fighting style. Of the four Champions, Mipha is my favorite, so I’m also excited to play as her (we really need more lance, spear-wielding characters in fighting games just in general). Between her unique style and my personal investment in her character, I can’t wait to try her out and being depressed knowing her inevitable fate along with the other Champions. What about you?
