Without DLC, there are 120 shrines in Breath of the Wild to find and work through. Some require specific conditions in order to activate the shrine, which bless you with a Spirit Orb. Others are tests of strength and lead to battles with Guardian Scouts. But most are puzzle based shrines, where you have to use your intellect. For today’s daily debate, I’d like to know which Breath of the Wild shrines stood out for you?

I liked the Kuh Takkar Shrine – Melting Ice Hazard, mainly because protecting your precious ice cube from various fiery threats was interesting. You could get away with your ice cube shrinking a few times and still complete the shrine. There was always a part of me, however, that wanted to get my ice cube through completely unscathed. It was only after experimenting with Magnesis and Stasis together that I finally managed to succeed. The Hila Rao shrine has also always stuck with me due to a woman called Magda, who is very overprotective of her flowers. Anyone who dares to step on them will be severely punished!

So, which Breath of the Wild shrines stood out for you? Maybe the Keo Ruug shrine – Fateful Stars will forever be stuck in your memory? Or perhaps Ketoh Wawai brought back memories of being afraid of the dark? Whichever shrine made a lasting impression, let us know in the comments below!
