If you’re reading this article right now, you’re probably a fan of the Legend of Zelda series, we know that. Some of us, maybe more die-hard fans, revisit our favorite titles in the series from time to time. With that, we already know what to expect from each title and manage to choose the one that will most likely soothe our nostalgia for the series at that moment.

For example: if I feel like having the experience of a more traditional RPG with a lot of puzzle solving elements, I will definitely choose to revisit portable titles, such as Oracle of Ages or A Link Between Worlds. However, if I want to relax and play unpretentiously, I choose to wander through the open world of Breath of the Wild. Maybe I just want to immerse myself in nostalgia or explore iconic places of Hyrule, so I will certainly go for Ocarina of Time.

With that being said, when choosing which title in the series I will revisit, one of the first things that come to my mind and affect my choice is whether, in that title, I will need to relive some part of the game that really annoys me. On many occasions I’ve kept myself from playing certain titles because they have too much dialogue or tiresome and repetitive dungeons. Is there anyone who would like to go through Eagle’s Tower more than once in their lifetime? Okay, I did it, but only because of the Link’s Awakening remake on the Switch.

What about you? Have you ever kept yourself from replaying any title in the Zelda series because you knew that something boring or irritating awaits you? If yes, what game and what section specifically? Or do you simply power through it? Let us know in the comments below.
