The Zelda community has always been known for being a particularly passionate and creative fanbase; we’ve got thousands of pieces of beautiful fanart, tons of increasingly complex fanfiction all over the internet, and generally, millions of incredibly loving and generous fans that would do anything for the series.

We know that, really, it doesn’t matter, but we do have to ask this question just out curiosity: what’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done for the series?

We’re really interested in seeing how you guys demonstrate your love for the series, and everything you have done for it; from what we’ve seen from our fanbase, you all love the games more than anyone else, and a lot of you have spent amazing amounts of time making all kinds of content just for fun.

(It’s important to keep in mind that it doesn’t really matter if you have or haven’t done any of these things, and it’s not a statement on how much you love the series. You do what you want, and if you prefer to express your love in different ways, then that’s great; in the end, we just want more people to appreciate the series.)

Personally, it’s very hard to say; I’ve never been one for collector’s editions or massive collections of every piece of Zelda merchandise ever created. I didn’t even really become a fan of the series until the Nintendo 64 era, so I don’t own every Zelda game, or anywhere near it. I guess the craziest thing I’ve ever done as a Zelda fan was get a job here, at Zelda Informer. I’ve been here for years, and it’s been a blast. I never run out of things to talk about, because there’s just so much I love about this series. I grew up with it, and I doubt I’ll ever stop playing these games.

What about you guys? What have you guys done for the series across the years? If you have one, could any of you post a picture of your Zelda collections? Let us know in the comments!
