So it looks like Hyrule Warriors has a pretty awesome bug in it that allows characters to use the weapons and movesets of other characters from the game, unlocking a ton of possibilities. No longer is Link alone in his ability to use the Spin Attack; now, just equip a Hylian Sword to any character and they too can spin at mighty speeds and somehow not become dizzy beyond belief.

Bugs and glitches have a bad rap in video games, and for good reason: oftentimes they can completely destroy an otherwise flawless experience or create an immersion-breaking situation that ruins the gameplay. You can’t really defend them…but, on occasion, they can prove beneficial and even enjoyable. Not every bug or glitch is gamebreaking, after all. Speedrunners exploit them to shave entire hours off their runs, everyday gamers can find a ton of humor in some of them, and sometimes they can even open up fantastic opportunities for those of us who aren’t dead-set on playing exactly how the developers intended.

For today’s Daily Debate, then, I figured we could share what some of our favorite glitches and bugs in the

Zelda series are. Even if you’ve never tried a glitch for yourself, perhaps you’ve heard of one that sounds really cool? I’ve never investigated any of them personally, but the Twilight Princess glitch explored in these Eggbusters videos has always seemed pretty fascinating. Being able to explore the world of the title screen, and seeing how crazy things can get when you start to venture deeper into that world…it’s crazy. How about you guys—got any other cool glitches or bugs you’d care to share?

Oh, and before someone starts talking about their most

hated bugs and glitches…well, don’t worry, we’ll have that debate soon too.
