The Zelda fandom continuously proves to be a wonderful batch of creativity, and this past year was no exception. Especially considering that people may have had extra time on their hands with quarantine, and that it may have been a rough year, the amount of fan work generated in 2020 is truly tremendous. From art to animation to music to fiction, the creations of the Zelda fandom grow by the day.

Although there are many to choose from, one of my favorite pieces of fan content this year was these adorable animations by Sharlene Yap. Little koroks and modern versions of Zelda and Link from Breath of the Wild always brightened my day. You can find Sharlene on twitter here.

Additionally, I am very proud of the story I wrote this past year entitled “A Moment Beyond”, that takes place after the events of Skyward Sword. Although I’m not particularly fond of flaunting my accomplishments, I can’t bring up my favorite pieces of content without being proud of what I was able to do with “A Moment Beyond”.

What about you? What was your favorite piece of Zelda fan content? Did you create anything yourself? Do you have anything in the works? Let us know in the comments below!
