The Legend of Zelda has been going for a good thirty-four years now, with many fans accumulating an impressive collection of Zelda merchandise along the way. This has ranged from t-shirts, plushies and manga, to breath mints and cosplay pointed ears.  The most striking pieces I have come across, however, are often the depiction of key characters as a statue. For today’s Daily Debate, I would like to ask what type of Zelda statue would you love to create?

Our featured image shows Link riding on Epona from Twilight Princess. I have admired this statue not only for its impressive details but for the way it jogs my memory about a game I really enjoyed. Everything from Link’s hero clothes, to the Master Sword and Epona rearing up on her hind legs makes me smile. If I were to create a statue of my own though, I would choose a scene from Ocarina of Time. In particular, the part when young Link meets the Skull Kid in the Lost Woods and they play Saria’s song. I think the characters surrounded by trees and fairylights would make a great atmosphere.

So, what type of Zelda statue would you love to create? Maybe you’d prefer a diorama of Link facing off in a favorite boss battle? Or perhaps another character is worthy of their own iconic moment as a statue? Whatever your thoughts, feel free to share them in the comments below.
