For an NPC, Pikango from Breath of the Wild is a curious one. Originally from Kakariko Village, he left home to capture the many beauty spots across Hyrule. As a travelling artist, it’s fair to say that his techniques are not the most advanced. But he can always be found bursting with enthusiasm at his easel and thoroughly enjoying mother nature at her finest. For our Daily Debate today, I’d like to know what sights in The Legend of Zelda would you like to paint?

In Breath of the Wild, there are plenty of landscapes to choose from and opportunities for portraits of interesting characters. I would love to sit and paint the imposing Hyrule Castle or the Master Sword within the peace and tranquillity of the woods. It doesn’t have to stop there though, across all the Zelda games there would be plenty of locations to capture. How about some time appreciating the beauty of the fishing hole from Twilight Princess in different seasons? Trying to show the hustle and bustle of Windfall Island in The Wind Waker would be a challenge. Or a portrait of a Zora from Ocarina of Time would be memorable.

So, what sights in The Legend of Zelda would you like to paint? A still life of some food ingredients would be a good mix for color and texture effects. Trying to get Ganondorf to stay still long enough for a portrait might be less than ideal for an artist. Maybe stick with a landscape of the iconic Death Mountain? Well, whatever your taste, let us know in the comments below!
