We are now aware that the sequel to Breath of the Wild is in development, and this has left fans with theories as to how the story is going to play out.  A great example of this would be the possibility that Princess Zelda might actually be a playable character!  Today though, I want to skip these awesome theories and talk about some features of the Nintendo Switch that could help make the next game incredible.

I think that a mainline Zelda game with a co-operative gameplay options would be a lot of fun, so I hope that we will be able to use the Joy-Cons and Pro Controller to play with a friend.  I also think it would be great to see the return of motion controls for this game, with the option to turn them off if you don’t like them.  Being able to snipe a Moblin using the motion controls makes it feel like you’re aiming a bow in real life!  The use of motion controls during Breath of the Wild was also useful when looking around with the Sheikah slate and marking positions from far away.

Let’s not forget about the amiibo functionality too!  Being able to use the different amiibo out in the wild made things a bit easier, and it gave us all an excuse to collect them all.  Finally, one of the best features of the Switch is being able to take the device off the dock and play whenever and wherever I wanted.  I know that this is a main feature of the Nintendo Switch, but I really enjoyed playing Breath of the Wild from the comfort of my couch, all while binge watching Netflix!

What features of the Nintendo Switch are you hoping to use in the next Zelda game? Sound off in the comments below!
