Daily Debate: What New Enemy in Tears of the Kingdom Are You Looking Forward to the Most?

After finally getting a full trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom from the most recent Nintendo Direct, I have been hyped about nearly every second of it! There are so many questions I need answers to. But the parts of the trailer that gave me all the excitement was seeing new enemies that we will be facing this time around.
From the look of things, there is a three-headed dragon guarding the Bridge of Hylia that looks an awful lot like Gleeok — a classic Zelda enemy! There were also new flying enemies that look particularly threatening, along with powered-up Bokoblins and Lizalfos. However, I am most hyped about seeing the return of one of my favorite enemies: ReDeads. There is only a small glimpse of what seems to be a ReDead in the scene where (presumably) Ganon’s minions are lining up to fight (as seen above), but it looks terrifying! I am here for it and so ready to be scared to death by its bone-chilling scream, just like I was when I was played through Ocarina of Time for the first time.
The return of ReDeads was one of the top musts on my list of expectations for Tears of the Kingdom, so I’m hyped! How do you feel about the ReDead reveal? What enemy are you looking forward to the most? Let us know in the comments!

She has loved The Legend of Zelda series since she was a little girl because of its equal mix of princesses, besting bad guys, and heartfelt stories. Chakell lives in the overall tame state of Utah, but holds onto her childhood hopes to find an adventure in her backyard one day. She has a degree in English and is a full-time editor for a magazine. You can usually find her gaming (obviously), laughing with her husband, taking a long time to tell stories because she keeps getting distracted; getting sucked into books and podcasts; or snuggling her cute Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
