Daily Debate: What Is Your Zelda-Related New Year’s Resolution?

Ah, the start of a new year. It’s an end to the holiday season, and the start of a crazy crop of New Year’s resolutions! Many of these resolutions result in people enthusiastically starting, and then falling off the bandwagon within a few months. Here at Zelda Informer, the question for you today is: what is your Zelda-related New Year’s resolution?

For me, it’s beating every game within the series. While I have played all but three, I have yet to beat the original The Legend of Zelda, Adventure of Link, either of the Oracle games, Minish Cap, Four Swords Adventures, Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit Tracks. This has really come down to never owning a copy of any of these games, so thank goodness for the Virtual Console (although the DS titles and especially Four Swords Adventures will require some hunting down).

What about you? Perhaps there’s a game in the series you’ve always wanted to try but never got around to it, or a game that’s widely praised but you didn’t enjoy that might deserve a second chance. Or maybe you have a completionist’s mindset, and desire to achieve 100% completion in a Zelda game for the first time. Maybe you’ve been reading this site for a while but have never even played a single game in the series; if so, now is the best time to try!
