Daily Debate: What Is Your Favorite Moment From The Zelda Dungeon Marathon?

It’s been over a week since the end of the 11th annual Zelda Dungeon Marathon. The event was a smashing success, gathering dozens of ZD staffers and special guests over the course of eight days and resulting in $16,212.61 USD raised for the charity Starlight Children’s Foundation. It is an overwhelmingly positive result for such a chaotic week, however the chaos still remains in Twitch archives as well as our memories.
As an attendee, it is especially hard for me to choose a favorite moment, but what sticks out to me in particular is teaming up with Managing Editor Rod Lloyd to win Link’s Awakening as the Mega Powers. However, there are also some other awesome moments, such as defeating a Lynel with only four hearts, watching guest Grovyle vanquish Demise blindfolded, and finally defeating Gleeokenspiel in Cadence of Hyrule with Editor-In-Chief Andy Spiteri. I also loved meeting new people and reuniting with old friends and, throughout the week, we all became a family.
