Daily Debate: What Do You Hope to See in the Final Tears of the Kingdom Trailer?

We’re just under a month away from the game’s release date, and Nintendo has announced the third and final trailer for Tears of the Kingdom. We’re less than 24 hours away from that trailer, and I’ve got to say that I’m super excited to see what it will entail!

The first two trailers for this game showcased some interesting details, like strange glyphs, different and new enemies, and what many assume to be Ganondorf’s voice. And then, of course, we got to see the mechanics of this game in action during the recent gameplay showcase with series producer Eiji Aonuma, where we learnt about new abilities including Fuse, Recall, Ultrahand, and Ascend. Realistically, it feels as though the only thing left to share in this third and final trailer is some story information.

If we do get some story info, I’ll be extremely pleased. It’s exactly what I think Tears of the Kingdom needs to really up the hype for its release. Personally, I play Zelda for what I feel is a compelling tale of good versus evil that transcends time itself, and all the good stuff on top is just the icing on the cake. I know I’m not the only one to feel this way! Hopefully all goes well, and we get a hint of a good storyline to tide us over until May 12th!
