The E3 Expo is a Summer highlight for many gamers young and old. E3 2021 is less than week away and that has left many wondering what to expect, and sharing their hopes for the expo on social media. 2021 is an anniversary year for many popular gaming series; Sonic the Hedgehog turns 30, Pokémon turns 25, and The Legend of Zelda celebrates its 35th anniversary. There has been a lot of talk of Zelda 35 Celebrations and E3 would be the place to see something new. So what are your hopes for The Legend of Zelda at E3 2021?
My biggest Zelda hope, as I imagine are many others, would be more news about Breath of the Wild 2, and by more I mean a trailer, a tagline for the game, and (this is very wishful thinking) a release year. Nintendo has been doing a social media blitz for Skyward Sword HD since its announcement, and we have Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity DLC Wave 1 to look forward to too. It would only make sense for the next bit of news that we hear be about Breath of the Wild 2.
Another hope of mine would be that the first wave of DLC for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity releases the day of Nintendo’s presentation. We know that it’s coming out in June and Nintendo would have the perfect opportunity to show off some of the new features that will arrive with the first wave. I would even be thrilled to see some gameplay from Wave 2 as well.
Those are my hopes The Legend of Zelda at E3, but what are yours? Let us know in the comments below!
