Daily Debate: What Are You Thankful For as a Zelda Fan in 2024?
Posted on November 28 2024 by Rod Lloyd
Here at Zelda Dungeon, we find reasons to express our gratitude for the Legend of Zelda series all year around. Even if we aren’t always content with current releases or satisfied with Nintendo’s creative / corporate decisions, the Zelda community at large offers us something to be thankful on a near-daily basis. So, since today is Thanksgiving (in the United States), we wanted to invite you all to share what you’re thankful for as Zelda fans in 2024.
Personally, I am thankful that we received a brand-new top-down Zelda title this year. Echoes of Wisdom may have shaken up the established formula quite a bit — with its princess protagonist and freeform game mechanics — but I ultimately felt that it provided the exact type of Zelda experience that I’ve been craving. As I discussed in my review, my favorite game in the series is A Link Between Worlds; so being able to step back into that familiar world in this new game was particularly impactful to me. I’m sure many out there can connect with that sentiment.
What are you thankful for as a Zelda fan this year? Let us know in the comments below!
