The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild‘s first DLC expansion, the Master Trials, included the addition of Master Mode, which essentially is a hard mode for Breath of the Wild. Every enemy with the exception of the different bosses is one “level” higher (For example: a Red Bokoblin would become a Blue Bokoblin) and regenerates health. This means that enemies will naturally hit harder and have more health. While a relatively simple change, it made Breath of the Wild considerably more difficult when the mechanics of stealth, weapon durability, and armor upgrades are taken into account. Conversely, it also created a harder challenge for experienced players who would want to complete this difficulty. Entirely new strategies would have to be found, inventory management becomes a bit more important, and finding the best armor is practically a must. All this brings out an experience that truly makes Breath of the Wild feel like Dark Souls during specific parts such as the bosses and during group encounters.

All this brings us to today’s question: Is Breath of the Wild‘s Master Mode worth completing? Let us know in the comments below!
