Daily Debate: Should The Golden Goddesses Be Playable DLC In Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition?

With the release of Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition on the Switch and the new outfits and entire cast featured in the game, it got me thinking about the possibilities of including more DLC characters that weren’t in any of the previous installments for Hyrule Warriors. While the Oracles Nayru and Din would be cool editions to represent the Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons games, I think my first choice for entirely new characters would be the Golden Goddesses.
The Hyrule Warriors are already known for having ridiculous power ups for the characters, so I don’t think they would be too broken or out of place, and they’d fit right in with the story in Hyrule Warriors. Plus, the Goddesses are some of the coolest components of the lore in the Zelda series, so having them as playable characters with unique designs would be a fantastic addition. Plus, they could easily have unique abilities and attacks based on their elements as well as their attributes. Even Hylia would be a cool DLC character as well, with a lot of potential to be a completely creative and unique selection since her abilities are an unknown in the main games, which could give Hyrule Warriors a lot of flexibility to create a fun character to play as.
There’s been no precedent for the Golden Goddesses in the Zelda games before, but I wouldn’t mind seeing a non-canon iteration of them in a fun fighting game. What do you guys think?
