Daily Debate: Should Nintendo Reconsider Any Scrapped Zelda Concepts?

Nintendo has scrapped a lot of ideas for character designs and game concepts for different installments in The Legend of Zelda series. Some of these scrapped ideas are simple character changes, maybe a different outfit, slightly different style, but doesn’t affect the game too much. Some, however, alter the entire game and how it would have played out.

One such concept would have drastically changed the original title, The Legend of Zelda, which would have seen the Triforce pieces as computer chips, being intended to “link” our hero between the medieval world of Hyrule with a more futuristic version (which reiterates the original intention of our protagonist’s name!). Also, Ganon was a vampire… These changes would have modified the entire progression of the series, had Nintendo went with them, but it would be a fun theme to explore!
