As 3D Zelda games have grown, so have their sword techniques. With the release of Breath of the Wild, a mix of combat styles previously unknown to the Zelda universe were introduced, yet unlike predecessors such as Twilight Princess, there were no specific set of special skills.

Should a game with a combat system as complex as Breath of the Wild, or any after it, have a higher set of combat techniques? If so, how should they be implemented, executed? Would you want them all to be from Twilight Princess, other games with “hidden” skills, or even new ones?
