Back in January, Zelda Dungeon reported on Universal Studios expanding to include Super Nintendo World in 2023. This got me thinking about trips to theme parks and my favorite rides. You have old staples such as the Log Flume or Pirate Ship, and then stomach-wrenching roller coasters with sudden drops. For our Daily Debate today, I’d like you to consider: If you could design a Zelda themed ride, what would it be like?

Minecarts seem to be a regular feature in many games of the Zelda series, but what about something different? An underwater adventure to take a look at the Zora would be fascinating. Something in the style of Submarine Voyage, that allows you to submerge and fully explore the ancient ruins of a lost sunken city. Maybe taking a ride with Tingle in a hot air balloon could be fun, although I see this as more of a distraction for the younger generation! Those who want thrills and spills might prefer something like the spinner from Twilight Princess, imagine chasing after Twilit Fossil Stallord with loop-the-loops and sudden twists and turns. If you could jump from pillar to pillar, and feel the vibrations as you bash into the gigantic skeletal beast, it’s surely worthy of an adrenaline seeker’s time?

So, if Nintendo asked you to design a Zelda-themed ride, what would you come up with? Perhaps take a magical journey with the Happy Mask Salesman through Termina? Or fly through the skies on Revali as you look down upon the Rito village? Let your imagination run wild, and share your thoughts in the comments below!
