Daily Debate: If You Could Create a Hylian Holiday What Would You Create?

We don’t know a whole lot about Hylian culture beyond what is featured in different games. Every race has its own traditions and festivities, and certainly they celebrate different holidays. But if you could create a Hylian holiday, what would you create?
I would create a holiday called the Cucco Festival! Cuccos are a pretty prominent animal across the Zelda series, so why not create a holiday to celebrate them? They’re known for their aggressive attitude if provoked, but all in all, they’re a pretty cute animal in the Zelda series. The Cucco Festival would be a day of fun for everyone young and old. There would be Cucco races, contests to see who had the most beautiful Cucco of the land (if it’s the blue Cucco from Link’s Awakening I’m sure it would be a winner!), and other Cucco-themed activities. Imagine Hylian children running around wearing something akin to the Bremen Mask from Majora’s Mask. There would be music and dancing, and it would all be centered around some very temperamental animals. It seems a bit funny, but why not? I’m sure Linkle would be keen to join in on all of the fun!
