Daily Debate: How Do You Think Zelda Games Have Changed The Most Over The Past 35 Years?
Posted on April 27 2021 by Alexandria Weber
The past thirty five years of Zelda games have consisted of developers expanding upon the foundations of the original game released in 1986. They have kept to the thrilling sense of adventure and the potent expression of courage while still experimenting with various overworlds, methods of travel, and game mechanics. While the fairly recent Breath of the Wild has many aspects that have been carried across the series, Zelda games have still undergone changes as time has gone on.
I think the biggest change that has occurred over the past 35 years is the ease of gameplay. Not only have the controls gradually become more fluid, but in-game consequences are less severe and more forgiving.
What do you think? What is the biggest change that has occurred? Is it a good or bad change? Let us know in the comments below!
