Daily Debate: Do You Think The Three Dragons From Skyward Sword Share A Connection With Breath of the Wild’s Dragons?

One of the coolest things in Breath of the Wild is just running along a cliff-side, only for the air to seemingly get stiller and the music change into that slow, regal sounding song. This lets you know that you’re in the presence of a dragon. There are three dragons that roam Breath of the Wild’s Hyrule – Farosh, Dinraal, and Naydra – and each time you get near them feels like a special, ethereal experience.
The presence of these new dragons was so overpowering that I nearly forgot I has seen three dragons in a previous Zelda game before – the dragons roaming the land that would eventually become Hyrule in Skyward Sword. The Three Dragons of this game – Faron, Eldin, and Lanayru – are charged with helping Link learn the Song of the Hero and leading him to the Triforce.
Though it had seemed like such an obvious connection before, I never really thought about it. Looking at now though, it seems like it can’t he a coincidence. Do you think these dragons are related to each other in some way? And how? Sound off in the comments below!
