Daily Debate: Do You Like or Dislike Encountering the Lynels in Breath of the Wild?

I think most of us can agree on one thing about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and that’s that Lynels suck. I dislike them with such a fiery passion, and honestly, I think some of them are harder than Calamity Ganon himself. Lynels are basically mini-bosses placed all over the map in Hyrule.

One day you’re just exploring and BAM! One Hit Wonder Mr. Lynel comes along and sends you flying across the field. And then, before you can even get up, he hits you with a fireball, torching you to a crisp and guess what pops up on the screen? GAME OVER. They’re big balls of hate and all they want to do is screw up your day. I mean come on, pick on someone your own size.

Granted, they do drop some awesome items that do great damage, but man do you have to work for it in order to get them. Fighting Lynels is not for the faint of heart, and be prepared to rage quit a couple times, especially when you’re first starting out. Most times, you don’t even stand a chance against those suckers in the beginning
