E3 can be a really exciting time for video game enthusiasts. There is a palpable excitement during the week, with fans going through a variety of potential emotions including joy, frustration and disappointment. While the conference has changed over the past few years and is likely to do so again in the future, the promise of exciting new announcements is something that most fans are still enthusiastic about.

With this in mind, do you have an E3 tradition or routine that you follow every year? For example, I will always have my phone out while I watch the Nintendo Direct/E3 Presentation and exchange over the top, exclamatory texts with an old friend from high school. Some colleagues and friends of mine, who work regular hours during the summer, have taken the day off for Nintendo’s E3 Presentation. Perhaps you have a special meal you make or buy for E3?

One of the nice things about the advancement of communication technology is the ability to stream the event with friends across the world. Using services like Twitch and Discord, it is easier than ever to share your excitement for a presentation or press conference. I love seeing people across the internet react to cool video game announcements from conferences like E3.
