Daily Debate: Do You Consider the Music in the Breath of the Wild Story Trailer an Official Zelda Game Song?

While we at Zelda Dungeon were planning Musical March Madness, there were a few pieces of music that we went back and forth on whether or not we should include it. One of the most debated songs was the piece of music from the Breath of the Wild Story Trailer in 2017.

Overall, some people consider it to be an official Zelda game song, as it is a brilliant, original piece that truly rings of The Legend of Zelda. To be fair, it was written by Nintendo for a Zelda game, and it wasn’t a remastering of old music, such as in the official Symphony of the Goddesses orchestra. However, others don’t, as it doesn’t actually appear in a video game. While they acknowledge it as Zelda music, they don’t considering it to be Zelda game music.
