If you’re artistically inclined, October is especially challenging. For those unaware, October is traditionally seen as the month of Inktober. A month-long challenge where artists are encouraged to use the prompts to create one inked piece of art every day. In the decade since its creation, Inktober has inspired all sorts of similar drawing challenges to complete. Many artists will make their own prompt lists too! With so many drawing challenges, it can be a bit overwhelming to decide what challenge you want to take on and how you’re going to complete it all!

Of course, the best prompt lists out there are created by Linktober! With three full calendars filled and a combined total of 93 prompts, Linktober offers an incredible amount of inspiration. And, if you take on all three challenge calendars, a lot of potential drawing.

Let’s discuss how the challenge went for everyone this year! If you participated this year, how did you do? How many pieces were you able to complete, and what were some of the challenges in your way? Were some prompts more challenging than others? Did you prepare ahead of time by buying extra supplies or sketching ideas days in advance? Finally, if you haven’t participated in Linktober before, do you think you will next year?
