Daily Debate: Could Zelda’s Powers Really Have Stopped the Calamity?

In Breath of the Wild, players are very quickly given the narrative of the story. 10,000 years ago, we know that the princess and the hero succeeded in stopping the Calamity from destroying Hyrule with the aid of the Guardians and the Divine Beasts.

We also know that after 10,000 years, the Calamity struck again and took over Hyrule because of the events that took place that led to Link’s 100 year slumber. The question for today is, had Zelda had control over her sacred powers, could she have stopped Calamity Ganon’s uprising?

Personally, I think that Princess Zelda, even with control over her sacred power, would have still failed to stop the Calamity. Of course, this is a Daily Debate, so let us know your thoughts on the matter in the comments.
