Cuccos are in Smash Bros., Ready to Wreak Havoc

The dreaded Cucco is in Smash Bros., and now players may need to be extra careful about where they are sending their attacks. As we know in the Zelda series, hitting a Cucco has some serious repercussions, bringing on an onslaught attack that sometimes never ends until you die. We have no idea if the Cucco is an item or an assist trophy, but Sakurai does mention that attacking them is out of the question (in a way that suggests you could be in deep in you do).

Obviously we don’t know what to fully expect here, but I would be giddy if you can hit them and you do see a massive Cucco attack on the player. It would just be a great nod and go well beyond a simple cameo appearance like Skull Kid likely is.
