Crowdfunding Begins for Zelda Inspired Clothing Line

Volante Designs is going to be releasing a full line of Zelda inspired clothing from the costumes it has provided for the upcoming Hang ‘Em Hyrule mini-series. It has dubbed the line “Legends of Time” as an extension of its Legends collection of designs inspired by other video games, comic books, films, and animes. The Legends of Time line has not launched yet, but Volante Designs has a self-hosted crowdfunding platform set up to get it ready for production, here. The team at Volante Designs is currently seeking funding for the Hero’s Blazer, Hero’s Tunic, Desert Royal Pants, Desert Royal Vest, Bolero of Wisdom, and Wisdom Vest. Each item has a different pledge goal and each provides different rewards for its pledge levels. There are twenty six days left for all of these campaigns to reach their goals. Surpassing stretch-goals will allow the group to produce designs in multiple colors and really give fans a nice selection of fashions. (See the outfits in action in the Hang ‘Em Hyrule trailer)
These designs are interesting because they look like costumes one could wear unassumingly out in public, not alerting the masses to the true nerdiness of the outfit while the wearer is fully aware; if only they weren’t so expensive.
