Cross-Stitched Zelda Shirt

The folks over at the King of Games have posted another Zelda goodie for sale. This one comes in the form of a Zelda t-shirt from the original Legend of Zelda. It is a black shirt that has sprite images of Link and Zelda from the ending of the original Legend of Zelda. Underneath the sprites it says, “THANKS LINK, YOU’RE THE HERO OF HYRULE.” This is also the quote that appears on screen after completing the game.
King of Games had this to say about the shirt.
Unfortunately, like much of the King of Games Zelda goodies… the shirt is available for the outrageous amount of 6000yen… which converts to over $78. The truth of the matter is that Japan and most of the world outside of the US and Europe, are use to paying a premium for games and other goodies. For example, Ocarina of Time 3D cost 4800yen when it released in Japan, which converts to about $63. That is more than a 50% increase in price than its US counterpart.
