Could The Four Sword Actually Be The Master Sword?

There are all sorts of theories about the Zelda franchise covering a whole heap of subjects. Some may well be true while others have too many holes in them to be taken seriously. The Master Sword is one of the key items from the games and has been wielded many times to defeat Ganon. We all know that the Master Sword is the only sword that can defeat Ganon but seeing as Link uses the Four Sword to defeat him in Four Swords Adventures could this mean they are, in fact, the same sword? YouTuber GameOver Jesse delves deeper into this question.

It’s certainly an interesting theory but what slightly ruins it is the timeline. The Minish Cap and Four Swords take place next to each other between Skyward Sword and Ocarina of Time but Four Swords Adventures takes place long after the events of Twilight Princess. This would mean the Four Sword would have become the Master Sword for Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess and then gone back to being the Four Sword for Four Swords Adventures.

I suppose there could have been some event we don’t know of that made it change form between Twilight Princess and Four Sword Adventures. Even so, I’d say it’s more likely they are separate swords but their originals are somehow related.
