In the run up to Breath of the Wild‘s release in March 2017, there was little artwork, footage, or indeed any sign of the game before the blow-out E3 in 2016. However, thanks to the subsequent release of Creating a Champion, we’ve been able to see much more of the game’s concept art, from Zonai art and origins, to early concepts of Link himself. Now, with the game’s sequel in development, YouTube group Commonwealth Realm have created a list of possible scrapped or cut ideas which could make their way into the sequel.

The list covers lots of different topics, from the reappearance of the ancient Zonai Tribe, to the final battle with Ganon. Using concept art as a prompt, it also mentions the possible return of musical instruments as mechanics and a greater variety of Guardian designs (some of the early designs for Guardians were… disturbing to say the least).

Personally I’d like to see the return of musical instruments (Look, I just want some Cello representation, okay?), but I’m also excited to see what brand new ideas Nintendo come up with. Would you like to see any of these cut ideas appear in the Breath of the Wild sequel? Or would you rather the development team came up with a bunch a new ideas instead?
